HAVERFORD, Pa. – The Haverford College men's soccer team moved up to No. 14 in the D3Soccer.com Poll and held its position as the 23rd ranked team by the United Soccer Coaches in this week's rankings release. The Fords (6-1-1, 0-1 CC) won both of their games during the past week with dramatic finishes.

Haverford started the week with a win over then-No. 18 Scranton in the D3Soccer.com Poll as Nick Jannelli scored on a direct kick with just 42 seconds remaining in the first overtime. Jannelli then scored the game-winning goal with 52.2 seconds left in regulation during a 3-2 win against Franklin & Marshall. Those two performances carried the NCAA Division III co-leader in game-winning goals to being named the Centennial Conference Offensive Player of the Week.

The Fords have now been ranked in the top 25 by the United Soccer Coaches Association in 18 of the last 19 releases. The team was receiving votes in the only other release during that time. With different timing on the release of preseason and regular season rankings, the Fords have been ranked in the top 25 by D3Soccer.com for 17 straight releases now. Both of those streaks date back to the 2015 season when Haverford was in the midst of a program-record 16 straight victories which carried all the way until the Elite Eight that season.

Haverford remains the fourth ranked team in the Mid-Atlantic Region according the United Soccer Coaches and the Fords will have another regionally-ranked matchup this week after winning both of those aforementioned matches. The Fords will travel to Muhlenburg (Wednesday) and Gettysburg (Saturday) this week. The Bullets are ranked seventh in this week's Mid-Atlantic Regional Poll. Both of those matches are slated for 7 p.m. starts.
