Recap | Box Score

Will Corkery '17gained national recognition for his free kick ability throughout his Haverford career. None of those patented free kicks were more iconic than his 2015 game-winning goal during the Centennial Conference Championship with just 19.1 seconds left in regulation time versus Dickinson. That goal propelled Haverford into the NCAA Tournament where the Fords advanced all the way to the Elite Eight as part of a program-record 16 consecutive victories. That campaign was the first of two consecutive undefeated Centennial Conference seasons in 20115 & 2016, a feat that was a Centennial Conference first and still has not been duplicated. That Fords' roster was littered with talent as Corkery, a future Varsity Cup winner, was named the Centennial Conference Tournament MVP before earning first-team D3Soccer All-American honors. Sam Yarosh '16, a fellow Varsity Cup recipient, was named the Centennial Conference Player of the Year and a first-team All-American that season as those two were part of a then-program-record seven All-Centennial Conference performers in 2015. Eight different players on that year's championship team would earn all-region accolades at some point during their Haverford careers. That collective roster combined for 26 All-Centennial Conference honors throughout their careers, including nine first-team recognitions.
