Blog Day Two: Camp Nou and Training

Blog Day Two: Camp Nou and Training

We started with a great team breakfast at the hotel. Shortly after, we were on our way to visit Barcelona's stadium, Camp Nou. Our tour guide, Ava, was tremendous and gave us some great info on the stadium. Did you know Camp Nou means New Field because it was the new field when they built it? Not very original if you ask me, but still an awesome stadium.

From the stadium, we went into a driving and walking tour of the city with our guide here in Barcelona, Manu. Next, we stopped by the beach to get lunch and explore. After the busy morning and afternoon, we had a couple of hours to rest at the hotel before our training at night.

The training was led by two coaches, Matías and Niko, who coach a local team here in Barcelona. The session was quite exuberant and lasted over an hour and a half.

Finally, we went out to dinner as a team. We had some time after dinner to check out the local scenery and then hit the hay because we got another big day planned for tomorrow! Stay tuned!
