Men's Soccer Earns 2021-22 College Team Academic Award from United Soccer Coaches

HAVERFORD, Pa. - The Haverford College men's soccer program has been awarded the United Soccer Coaches (USC) College Team Academic Award. A total of 818 soccer teams (309 men509 women) posted a team grade point average of 3.0 or higher, thereby earning the United Soccer Coaches Team Academic Award for the 2021-22 academic year. Of that total, 161 schools had both their men's and women's programs recognized. Haverford was one of those institutions this season. 

After the Fall of 2021, 18 members of the squad were additionally named to the Centennial Conference Fall Academic Honor Roll. Aaron Cohen, Michael Lyons, Noah Schwab, Caleb Miller, Tomas Ascoli, Meinhardt Rentrup, Max Mouer, Andrew Peebles, Ben Menko, Brian Lorenz, Anthony Walker, Matt Heim, Cyrus Nasseri, Liam O'Malley, Andrew Stephens, Dylan Ioffreda, Alex Millones, and Ben Ward all earned that award. 

Haverford is off to a solid start to the 2022 campaign, with a 3-2 win over Cabrini on opening day and a 1-1 draw with Wilkes on Saturday. The Fords head to Rowan tonight for a 7:30 p.m. kickoff under the lights.
