Pat DeLaney joins the coaching staff at Haverford ahead of the 2022 season. 

DeLaney previously served as the Asssistant Women’s Soccer Coach at Ursinus College where he was responsible for organizing and assisting in practice plans, film review sessions, and implementing game tactics to fit the modern women’s game. 

He also serves as an age group coach and goalkeeper coach at FC Delco, where he works closely with athletes from ages 8 to 18 with a focus on developing technical and mental abiliies of young goalkeepers.

The Philadelphia area native has previous experience as a goalkeeper coach for Bishop Shanahan High School and West Chester East High School. 

A 2020 graduate of James Madison, DeLaney earned his Bachelor of Science in Sports and Recreation Management with a minor in Business. He holds a USSF Grassroots License as well as National Goalkeeping Level 1&2 diplomas.
