
TEMPE, Ariz. – Building on a strong spring break performance where they went 4-0 in Southern California, including a victory at then-No. 20 Redlands, the Haverford College men's tennis team has earned a No. 32 national ranking.
Following wins against the Bulldogs, Hope International, UC Santa Cruz, and Wabash, the Fords returned to Pennsylvania to prepare for the upcoming Centennial Conference season.
In the conference landscape, Swarthmore holds the No. 8 spot, while Franklin & Marshall is ranked No. 40.
The ITA Top 40 Coaches Poll, determined by secret ballots from the ITA National Ranking Committee, has placed Haverford at their highest position since No. 29 in March 2023.
Haverford will face No. 39 Stevens in an anticipated match in Bayonne, N.J., on Friday at 3 p.m., followed by its Centennial Conference opener at Gettysburg on Saturday at 12 p.m.
