Softball Welcomes Back 16 Alumnae for Annual Contest

HAVERFORD, Pa. – After missing a year due to pandemic restrictions, the Haverford softball program was eager to welcome back its alumnae for a ceremony honoring the Class of 2020, a group which was unable to hold a traditional senior day during the shortened 2020 season. The day also included a spirited home run derby. Following the festivities, the current varsity team welcomed back the alumnae with a tailgate and reception.

Alumnae in attendance this weekend were Samantha Fearse '09, Jen DiCandilo '14, Sarah Brody '15, Jessica Koshinski '18, Alex Craig '18, Emily Gorman '18, Julia Blake '19, Rachel Wolfson '19, Temma Levis '20, Bri Quinn '20, Ashley Sisto '20, Marybeth Stone '20, Allison MacKenzie '21, Emma Souter '21, and Nicole Swisher '21.

The alumnae event was part of the Fords' fall non-traditional season. Softball is currently scheduled to open its spring season during the College's week of Spring Break. During the team's trip to Florida, Haverford will play 10 games during the week of Sunday, March 6.
