Women's Fencing Competes at Penn State Invitational
UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. -  The Haverford College women's fencing team competed this past Sunday at the Penn State Invitational, taking on Division I powerhouses Duke, Temple, Columbia, North Carolina, Penn, and the host Nittany Lions. Both the Haverford men's and women's teams were able to score at least one victory in every match, in a tournament that wraps up their winter training camp with competition against the best teams in the NCAA.

On the women's side, senior foiliste Golda Glasser and First-year sabriste Aamina Dhar did the heavy lifting, carrying three wins each on the day, spread out across the tournament.  Dhar tagged one apiece against Duke, UNC, and Penn State, while Glasser picked up a key victory against North Carolina and won two against Temple. The Fords will continue to face Nationally ranked Division I teams next weekend, including rematches with Duke and UNC, at the Philadelphia Invitational held at UPenn's Micahnik Fencing Center.
