Title: Assistant Coach

Gamble returns to the Haverford Fencing program after graduating in 2018. Gamble earned his undergraduate degree in  Anthropology from Haverford College, and in 2023 earned his Masters in Social Service from the Bryn Mawr Graduate School of Social Work. He began his fencing career at age 9 training at the Portland Fencing Center under Nancy Reynolds. While in college he also trained with Michael Marx and Ralf Bissdorf at Marx Fencing Academy.

While at Haverford, Gamble was elected co-captain of the men’s fencing team for the 2015-2016 season and the Men’s Foil Squad Leader for the 2017-2018 season. He placed 31st at the NCAA Regional Championships in March of 2018 and was one of three foilists to win nine bouts during the MACFA “A” vs. “C” bouts in February of the same year. 

Gamble is a licensed social worker, and works as a therapist at Turning Leaf Therapy in Philadelphia, specializing in trauma treatment and working with current and former athletes.
