All-Centennial Conference Release
HAVERFORD, Pa. - Fresh off of another Centennial Conference playoff appearance, the Haverford College women's lacrosse team had three representatives named to the All-Centennial Conference team today.
Junior Sarina Manetta was named to the first team All-Centennial Conference after her standout season as the team leader in ground balls (46) and draw controls (32). Manetta, a two-way player, set new career highs in goals with 23 and assists with 11. Her best game came in a win over Carbrini when she scored five goals and tallied an assist for six points in addition to three draw controls and a season-high five ground balls. Manetta was named an honorable mention after the 2015 season.
Two Fords were selected to the All-Centennial Conference second team. Attacker Christina Gould finished third in the conference in assists with a career-high 31. She also scored 14 goals to tallie a career-high 45 points. She finishes her Haverford career third in program history with 74 total assists. Sophomore defensive player Madison Jones was also named to the All-CC second team. Jones set new career highs in caused turnovers (20) and ground balls (24).
The Fords reached the Centennial Conference postseason for the fifth time since 2010.
