Full CoSIDA Release

HAVERFORD, Pa. - Haverford women's lacrosse senior attackers Hailey Morris and Julia Pascarella have each been named to the 2020-21 Academic All-District® Women's At-Large Team. Selected by the College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA), this award recognizes the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances in athletic competition and in the classroom.

The at-large teams take into account all sports which do not have a dedicated all-academic team. The CoSIDA Academic All-America® program separately recognizes honorees in four divisions — NCAA Division I, NCAA Division II, NCAA Division III and NAIA. First-, second- and third-team Academic All-America® honorees will be announced in early August.

Morris, a product of Baltimore, finished her illustrious Haverford tenure with exactly 100 points, checking in with 63 goals and 37 assists in just 39 games played. She leaves the program in the top 15 in school history for assists per game (0.95). Morris was named an Ambler Scholar-Athlete, a recognition bestowed upon the top 15 senior student-athletes by grade point average. The psychology major was a member of the Centennial Conference Spring Academic Honor Roll in each season of eligibility and she led the team in points (22), goals (17), shots (31), and shots on goal (25) during the abbreviated 2020 campaign and picked up a Centennial Conference Offensive Player of the Week Award that season after a season-high five goals and two assists against Moravian.

Pascarella, of Dix Hills, N.Y., became known as a stalwart of the Haverford offense as the co-captain tallied 44 goals and 51 assists during her Fords tenure. Pascarella was also named an Ambler Scholar-Athlete, a recognition bestowed upon the top 15 senior student-athletes by grade point average. She is third all-time in program history for assists per game (1.42) and also ranks 13th in program history in assists (51) despite just 36 total games and 23 starts. A Centennial Conference Spring Academic Honor Roll recipient in each season of eligibility, she ranked second on the 2020 team in goals (11), assists (6), shots (25), and shots on goal (19), finishing the year with 17 total points and finding the back of the cage in each contest.
