HAVERFORD, Pa. – The Haverford College women's squash team will be taking part in this weekend's Epps Cup in the College Squash Association's (CSA) Team Championships at New Haven, Conn. The tournament takes place from Friday through Sunday.

The championship pool consists of 44 teams broken down into four divisions of eight. Seeding was based on teams' final season rankings.

Haverford has been selected as the No. 32 team and will face off with No. 25 Dickinson College in the first round of the Epps Cup. The winner of that match will play the winner of Mount Holyoke College (29) and Conn. College (28). Other schools competing in the Epps Cup include Wesleyan University (26), William Smith College (27), Boston College (30), and Vassar College (31).

The Fords stumbled twice against Dickinson during the season. However, they may be carrying some momentum into the CSA Team Championships as they finished the season winning four of their last five matches. They carry a 6-11 regular season record into the tournament. Their season was highlighted by notable performances from Isabel Gotuaco, who led the team with nine wins, and Isabelle Agnew, who won eight games and only lost three.

First round action begins Friday at 6 p.m. at Wesleyan University where the Fords faceoff with Dickinson. The tournament continues through the weekend.
