NEW HAVEN, Conn – The Haverford College women's squash team stumbled in the first round of the Epps Cup in the College Squash Association (CSA) Team Championships Friday evening at Wesleyan University. The Fords battled, but ultimately were victims of a 9-0 defeat in the hands of Dickinson College. The Red Devils are the top ranked team in the Epps Cup.

In a back-and-forth battle, Agnew won her first game (12-10) before taking two close losses (11-7, 11-9) and then coming back to win the fourth game (12-10). She ultimately fell in the fifth and final game of the match.

Fioramonti-Gorchow won games two and four, tying the individual score both times, before her opponent took game five.

The loss drops the Fords to 6-12 overall. They'll take on Mount Holyoke College in the consolation bracket Saturday at Yale University. The match gets underway at 7 p.m.
