Petrichenko earned her seed time at the Centennial Conference Championships last weekend, taking the bronze medal finish with a time of 17:25.40. The time is second on Haverford's all-time indoor list for the 5,000-meter distance, leaping over Nicole Giannetti's time of 17:25.94 set in 2018. The Bellingham, Wash. product enters as the 17th-seeded individual in the event.

Haverford has now sent 20 individual qualifiers to the national indoor meet in program history, as well as one relay squad, earning 17 All-America finishers in total. Petrichenko, an All-American during the cross country season, is the first Haverford runner to earn qualification to the national meet since Katie Sullivan qualified for the mile in 2017. Petrichenko is the first Haverford athlete to run in the 5,000 meters at the national meet since Kelly Riffenburg in 2015. Haverford's best ever finish in the event came in 1994 as Jen Marazano finished fourth.
