CHESTER, Pa. - The Haverford College volleyball team earned a split in non-conference action at Widener University on Saturday afternoon as the Fords took down the host Pride, 3-0, but fell in three sets to Cabrini College.

The Fords' offense was clicking against the Pride (9-8) as it registered a sizzling .305 attack percentage overall in the straight-set victory (25-21, 25-16, 25-18). Sophomore Meg O'Day led the effort with 16 kills and just three errors for a .464 attack percentage of her own. O'Day's classmate Keri Godbe continued her season-long streak of double-digit kill performances with 14. Olivia Walsh contributed a season-high 25 assists.

O'Day also loomed large on defense as she registered a career-high six solo blocks and two block assists. Junior Sarah Brody and Godbe each reached double figures in digs with 13 and 11, respectively.

Brooke Ruditys paced Widener with seven kills while Victoria Miller took team-high honors in digs with 10.

Earlier in the day, Haverford (8-3) fell to Cabrini College, 3-0, despite more strong play from Godbe and O'Day. Godbe registered 13 kills while O'Day added 10.

Walsh chipped in with 16 assists and freshman Abby Keller also reached double figures with 14.

Brody and Godbe shared team-high honors in digs with 10. O'Day was once again a force at the net with four blocks.

Danielle Carrozza led the Cavaliers (11-3) in the three-set victory (25-17, 25-19, 25-21) with 11 kills while Cassidy Koenig took match-high honors with 28 assists.

The Fords return to action on Wednesday night when they host Stevens Institute of Technology for a non-conference match beginning at 7:30 p.m.
