In lieu of varsity athletic contests while the College engages in distance learning, Haverford Athletics has dug into the archives. Our "Fords Flashback" will be profiling classic games from recent history.

Recap | Box Score

The Haverford College volleyball team matched up very well with the top teams in the Centennial Conference during the 2013 season. No game was more telling of that fact then when the Fords swept past eventual Centennial Conference Champion inside Gooding Arena. Keri Godbe posted a double-double for the Fords with 12 kills and 13 digs while Meg O'Day added 14 kills. Unfortunatley for the Fords, luck was not on their side in the tiebreak in the very competitive final Centennial Conference standings. Nonetheless, the Fords would get their chance to showcase that talent with the bulk of the team back for the 2014 run to the second round of the NCAA Tournament while the 2015 team advanced to conference finals.
