Recap | Box Score

Down two games is never an easy hill to climb but that was the exact situation the Haverford College volleyball team overcame in this 2017 classic battle with McDaniel. Heading into the third set the Fords completely flipped the script, winning the third and fourth sets easily before a hard-fought 15-12 battle in the decisive game. Natalie Pisch '19 and Sara Matsumura '20 led the Fords with 20 kills each as part of their respective double-double efforts. Zoe Wong '18 dished out 46 assists. All three would go on to finish their careers as distinguished members of the program as Wong and Matsumura were both nominated for the NCAA Woman of the Year award while Pisch joined the program's 1,000 kill club. Defense also played a key role in the comeback victory as the Green Terror were held to an .055 hitting percentage over the final three sets. Sydney Miller '21 headlined the defensive effort with 21 digs.
