The honorees are voted on by the sports information offices of the 29 area institutions from the Philadelphia metropolitan area. In order to be eligible for Academic All-Area honors, an athlete must be in at least his or her second year at the institution and hold a cumulative grade-point average of 3.20 or better.
The Haverford College Athletic Department will induct its eighth class into the Thomas Glasser ’82 Hall of Achievement in the spring of 2018. The deadline for submission of nominees for the 2018 Hall of Achievement is August 1, 2017.

Former women’s track & field and cross country standout Jen Maranzano ’94 recently completed the Chicago Marathon in a time of 2:49:21. That time placed her second overall in her age group and was the highest American finisher in her age group.
