Matt Dale joined the Haverford College baseball coaching staff prior to the 2020 season. Dale graduated from Rhodes College where he was a relief pitcher for the team which won two Southern Athletic Association Championships during his playing career. While pursuing his undergraduate degree, Dale has also worked as freelance baseball trainer and spent two years at Baseball Player Development Systems as a player development associate for two years.

Growing up locally, Dale attended Germantown Academy prior to Rhodes. He graduated from Rhodes in the spring of 2019 with a degree in chemistry.
