In a matchup that took place just a few short months ago, the Haverford College field hockey team battled deep into the night against Juniata during this 2019 non-conference clash. The Fords, a team receiving votes in the national polls, accumulated a 15-8 edge in shots and 9-4 advantage in corners. Nevertheless, the two sides still found themselves tied over 74 minutes into the double overtime contest. Kelsey Chai changed that when she converted a penalty stroke during the 75th minute of play to send the Fords to victory. Haverford opened the scoring in the first half as Ariana Sulpizio set up Ravenel Davis to stake the Fords to a 1-0 lead during the first quarter.
