Permutt snares Centennial, Cozen player of the week awards

HAVERFORD, Pa. – Haverford College forward Sam Permutt was honored as the Sam Cozen Player of the Week at the Philadelphia Area Small College Basketball Luncheon held at the University of the Sciences in Philadelphia Monday afternoon and later in the day was announced as the Centennial Conference player of the week by the league office.

Permutt averaged 20.5 points, 10.5 rebounds and 3 assists, while shooting 56 percent from the floor in a 2-0 week for the Fords. He scored 24 points, corralled 19 rebounds and handed out five assists against Immaculata and posted 17 points and 10 boards in the victory over Dickinson.

In the Centennial Conference, Permutt is first in offensive rebounds per game (3.42) and second in overall rebounding (9.3 per game). He also ranks 10th in scoring with a 15.9 points per game average.
