HAVERFORD, Pa. – Haverford College men's basketball coach Patrick Doherty has announced Sunday, September 8 as the date for the 2019 Haverford College Men's Basketball Prospect Clinic. The clinic is open to all players entering grades 10-12 who aspire to play at the college level. It will feature drills and skill work as well as three-on-three and five-on-five play. The clinic begins at 9:30 a.m. and will run until 3 p.m.

The cost of the prospect clinic is $60 and will include a t-shirt. The registration deadline to sign-up is Friday, August 31. The clinic will be run as if each participant is a current member of our program, and all participants should expect high quality instruction, competition, and the opportunity to spend time with and get to know Haverford's coaching staff and current players.

Head coach Patrick Doherty will be entering his third season at the helm of the Fords during the 2019-20 season. Haverford has improved its win total during each of Doherty's first two seasons as the Fords posted their most victories since the 2010-11 campaign this past season and recorded the program's most Centennial Conference wins since 2011-12.

Under Doherty's guidance, the Fords have already set statistical marks on both ends of the court that have not been witnessed in decades. This past season, Joe Scibelli '19 became Doherty's first All-Centennial Conference selection as he garnered first-team all-conference honors after leading the league in both points and rebounds on his way to becoming the first Centennial Conference player since 2012 to average a double-double. Scibelli joined classmate Kahlil Garnes '19 in becoming the 17th and 18th members of the men's basketball 1,000 point club.
