Facing the prospect of a double overtime Centennial Conference contest, Jesse Turkson collected an initially blocked shot and beat the buzzer at McDaniel during the 2018-19 season as the Fords toppled the Green Terror by an 82-80 overtime final. That possession came just moments after Turkson blocked McDaniel's attempt at the go-ahead basket on the other end of the floor. That thrilling conclusion capped an overtime period that saw three lead changes during the final three minutes of the overtime period. Teamwork has become one of the hallmarks of the Fords in recent memory and this game was no different as five players reached double figures, led by Jack Cork's 22 points off the bench. Turkson collected another one of his patented double-doubles with 12 points and 15 rebounds while then-seniors Joe Scibelli (18 points), Kyle Goldfarb (15 points), and Kahlil Garnes (11 points) all reached double figures.
