April 20, 2019

Recap | Box Score

The Haverford College men's lacrosse team made several statements throughout the 2019 season with a pair of top-10 victories. The Fords' final act that year came when they defeated eventual Centennial Conference Champion Ursinus on its home field by a 12-9 score. Sean Mowatt-Larssen '22 paced the attack with four goals while Garret Trucksess '19 dished out four assists. Ethan Donlon '21 once again shined in goal, making 19 saves on the afternoon. Haverford blitzed the Bears early, jumping out to a 5-0 lead before their nationally-ranked opponents got onto the scoreboard. An early second quarter run brought the Bears to within a goal at 6-5. Nevertheless, the Fords slammed the door on any further thoughts of a comeback as they scored four straight to go up 10-5 before the defense took over during the second half.
