HAVERFORD, Pa. - The Haverford College men's lacrosse team is receiving votes in the latest release of the United States Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association (USILA) Division III national poll, through games of February 28.

The Fords join No. 8 Franklin & Marshall No. 15 Gettysburg, No. 16 Dickinson, Ursinus, and Muhlenberg as teams either ranked or receiving votes in the weekly Top 25.

After a narrow loss to then-No. 8 Cabrini to open the season in Radnor, the Fords responded with a convincing victory over then-No. 18 Stevens on Wednesday, as well as a 15-14 triumph over Mary Washington to cap a two-game homestand on Saturday afternoon. The effort was recognized by the conference office as Sean Mowatt-Larssen and Teddy Carlin were honored as Offensive and Defensive Player of the Week by the Centennial. Haverford now heads out on a spring break trip to Upstate New York, with a showdown at Skidmore scheduled for Saturday (1 p.m.) before taking on Ithaca, another team receiving votes in the poll, on Tuesday, March 8. The Fords return home for a matchup with Susquehanna on March 12 to wrap up the break period.
