Men’s Lacrosse Unveils 2024 Spring Schedule

Full 2024 Schedule

HAVERFORD, Pa. - The Haverford College men's lacrosse team has released their schedule for the upcoming season, with 16 games on tap for 2024. On the sidelines this season will be Head Coach Richard Carrington, who is in his first season with the Fords. Carrington joined Haverford from Amherst College, where he served as the defensive coordinator and assistant coach for the Mammoths for the past two seasons.

The Scarlet and Black start their new campaign at home, opening the season against DeSales on February 10. Following the home opener, the Fords travel to Cabrini for one final clash with the Cavaliers on February 17, before returning home for another non-conference matchup with Lebanon Valley on February 24.

A mid-week trip to Chester to take on the Widener Pride on February 28, closes out the opening month for Haverford.

An extremely busy month for the Fords begins with a voyage over to Virginia for a matchup at Randolph-Macon on March 3, before Haverford welcomes FDU-Florham (March 6) and Susquahanna (March 9) to the turf at Swan Field.

Then it's off to Drew University, to compete in the Drew Tournament with the opening game coming against Stevens on March 15. Depending on the result of the Stevens matchup, Haverford will be playing either Drew or Rhodes on March 17.

A brief, two-game homestand kicks off Centennial Conference play, as the Scarlet and Black welcome conference foes Franklin & Marshall on March 23 and Washington College on March 27.

Following a quick trip to Gettysburg on March 30, Haverford hosts Ursinus on April 6, before venturing out to McDaniel (April 13) and Muhlenberg (April 17) for two tough road tests.

Senior Day will take place on April 20 against back-to-back Centennial Conference champion Dickinson, before one last regular-season contest on the road against Hood Trophy rival Swarthmore on April 27.

The always highly-contested encounter will also determine who will gain a crucial point in the Hood Trophy competition between the two schools.

The Centennial Conference Championship First Round commences on April 30, with the semifinals taking place on May 3, before the highly-anticipated Championship game on May 5. The Fords hope to return to the Centennial Conference Tournament for the first time since 2018.
