Commodores get by men’s squash, 6-3, in CSA first round

CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – The Haverford College men's squash lost to Vanderbilt University, 6-3, in the opening round of the Chaffee Division at the 2011 College Squash Associations Team Championships. The Fords had the upper hand coming into the match, defeating Vanderbilt, 6-3, earlier this month.

Tim Ibbotson-Sindelar, Chris Tyson and Andy McComas were victorious for Haverford (7-6).

The Fords move into the consolation bracket where they will take on Boston College Saturday at 9 a.m. The Eagles lost to Kenyon College, 5-4, in the opening round. Haverford fell to BC by an 8-1 count back in November.
