Men's squash splits decision with a win and a loss on the day

Poughkeepsie, N.Y.- A Saturday afternoon doubleheader turned into a win and a loss for the Haverford College men's squash team.

The Fords, now 1-3 on the season, battled past Ithaca 5-4 and then dropped the nightcap to Vassar 7-2.

In the win over Ithaca, the Fords got a fantastic effort from #5 Harry Gallway- who pulled out a win (11-7, 9-11, 11-9, 4-11, 11-9) over Asaad Anjum.  In the loss to Vassar, Haverford received their two points from #3 Chris Tyson and #4 Peter Boal-whose matches both went into five games. 

The Fords head north for their next jaunt, a Saturday, Nov. 12 match at MIT (10 a.m.) followed by a Nov. 13 trip to nearby Northeastern (11 a.m.) and Boston College (2 p.m.).
