Men's Squash Battles Tufts

BELMONT, Mass. – The Haverford College men's squash team dropped its first match of 2015, falling 9-0 to the Tufts University Jumbos on Friday night at the Belmont Hill School.

Freshman Zach Cole won his first game 13-11, but dropped a heartbreaker in game two 19-17 before falling in four games. Freshman Peter Dudley scored a win in game one (11-6) before losing three straight (11-9, 11-6, 11-7).

"The team played well against a very difficult opponent," said head coach Niki Clement. The fifth-year head coach also noted the strong play by Cole, "He played really well and left everything on the court."

The Fords (5-3) return to the court tomorrow vs. Northwestern (12 p.m.) and MIT (2 p.m.). Haverford will also battle Northeastern on Sunday beginning at 9:15 a.m.
