AMHERST, Mass. - The Haverford College men's squash team (4-5) wrapped up play at the Pioneer Valley Invitational on Sunday morning, taking on the host Mammoths of No. 17 Amherst (6-3) to close out the weekend. Amherst came away with the 9-0 victory at the Davenport Squash Courts.

The Fords struggled to find their footing against the talented NESCAC side, as all nine individual matches ended in sweeps. Quinton Crawford scored seven points in one of his games against Robinson Armour at the top flight, with Ben Schiltz and Minor Reedich also getting to seven points in games against their opponents at the fourth and fifth flights, respectively. Ted Pyle made his debut in the top 10, competing in the exhibition slot for the Fords.

The Fords will face another tough challenge on Friday, January 21, as the men's squad takes on No. 13 Chatham at 7 p.m. The contest against the Pittsburgh-area squad will be hosted in Lancaster, Pa. on the campus of Franklin & Marshall.
