CSA Individual Championships
U.S. Intercollegiate Doubles Championship

HAVERFORD, Pa. – Haverford squash first year Ariana Solecki and junior Quinton Crawford will represent Haverford at the 2022 College Squash Association (CSA) individual championships in Philadelphia this week. The event is being hosted at the Arlen Specter U.S. Squash Center. Draws for the event were announced in a release on Thursday. The tournament begins on Friday morning and matches continue through Sunday afternoon in University City. 

In addition, Haverford will have entrants in the 2022 U.S. Intercollegiate Doubles Championship, which will run concurrently at the Specter Center.  The CSA Individual Championships feature four brackets in total. The Pool Trophy (men's) and Ramsay (women's) Cups feature the top 32 individuals while the Molloy (men's) and Holleran (women's) divisions feature a bevy of top players from the programs of the CSA.

Solecki, the No. 16 seed in the regional, will face off with No. 1 Serena Daniel from Harvard in the Round of 16 in the Holleran East division. (11:15 a.m.) A potential second round matchup will feature a showdown with Canadians Lucia Bicknell of Stanford or Molly Chadwick of Princeton (5:15 p.m.)

Crawford will face off with Haris Qasim of Drexel in the 3/14 matchup in Molloy North play (9:15 a.m.) with a second round meeting against Mateo Restrepo of Trinity or Maxwell Orr of Yale (2:45 p.m.). 

In men's doubles play, Ben Schiltz and John Collins will play Jacob Good and Vendant Gupta of Brown in the opening round (9:30 a.m.) with the rest of the doubles bracket to be announced.  The mixed doubles team of Schiltz and Solecki will face off with Diya Sanghi and Marco Rodriguez of Tufts at a time to be determined.
