ALLENTOWN, Pa. - The No. 28 nationally ranked Haverford College men's tennis team (12-5, 6-1 CC) won its sixth consecutive match on Tuesday at Muhlenberg (2-9, 0-7 CC), cruising to the win over the short-handed Mules by a 9-0 final at the Kern Field Courts. Haverford did not drop a set to the Mules on the afternoon and allowed just eight total games to the Mules.

In doubles, Haverford took the early 1-0 lead thanks to a default at the third doubles pairing before Jason Edmonds and Justin Minevera blanked Daniel Kantor and Joshua Benson by an 8-0 final. Max Beckwith and Andreas Wingert then teamed up at the second flight, blanking Issac Shulman and Noah Katz by an 8-0 final.

Moving into singles play, Haverford was already on the precipice of the match victory by virtue of a default at No. 6, allowing John Finberg to step into the lineup and clinch things at number five with his 6-0, 6-0 blanking of Matt Wagner.

Justin Minerva then got the best of Katz at the second flight (6-0, 6-0) and Abhinav Nallapareddy dispatched Josh Benson (6-0, 6-0) at the third. Jason Edmonds stepped into the singles lineup for the first time and made his singles debut with a 6-0, 6-0 blanking of Shulman. Danny Loder stepped up into the top flight and dispatched Kantor by straight sets, 6-4, 6-4 to wrap up the afternoon.

The Fords now wrap up the Centennial Conference regular season slate on Saturday with a trip to Gettysburg. The matchup with the Bullets is slated to begin at noon.
