Men's Tennis Defeats Alumni in Annual Friendly Matchup

HAVERFORD, Pa. - The Haverford College men's tennis program hosted its annual alumni match on Saturday, October 7th, welcoming back 23 alums and former coaches for some friendly competition during their fall season. The varsity roster won the inaugural David Kong '20 Memorial Trophy as they edged out the alums winning 15-3 and improving to an overall record of 12-10 in a match that started outside before being moved into the Alumni Field House due to impending rain. 

The alumni team consisted of Dave Merrell '09, Kevin Yan '20, Andrew Bickford '92, Michael Gelberg '10, Abhinav Nallapareddy '23, Adam Branovan '20, Carl Lederman '05, Jeff Himelstein '20, Eli Phelps '18, George Jiang '22, Harrison Lee '04, Ishaan Prinz 18, Jackson Trevor '22, Jason Edmonds '23, Josh Moskovitz '19, Jun Mo '21, Patrick Kley '22, Paul Hoffstein '79, Pranav Krishnan '21, Raja Arul '20, Rob Kresch '20, Scott Kozarsky '21, former assistant coach Ken Norris '74, and former head coach Sean Sloane. 

The Haverford men's tennis team will kick off their spring dual-match season on February 24th at Washington & Lee University.
