HAVERFORD, Pa. – The Haverford College men's Indoor Track & Field team has picked up nine US Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) All-Mideast Region awards, the organization announced in a release on Monday. The nine honors were split across seven student-athletes competing in six events (400 meters, 800 meters, mile, 3,000 meters, 5,000 meters, distance medley relay).

Seniors Greg Morgan, Graham Peet, Ian Woodhouse, Liam Lynch, Chris Goings, junior Hiroshi Kawakatsu, and first year Jamie Moreland each earned All-Mideast honors. All-Region designation is given to student-athletes who rank within the top five marks for an individual event according to the final TFRRS list. Runners who are part of relays that finish within the top three in the region are also designated as All-Region.

Morgan picks up All-Region designation for the mile, 3,000 meters, and the distance medley relay for the second straight season. Peet earns All-Region designation in the 5,000 meters for the third straight indoor season, while Lynch picks up the award for the 400 meters for the second consecutive year after earning the award for the DMR in 2017.

Moreland earns the award for the 800 meters while Goings, Kawakatsu and Woodhouse were all honored for their role in Haverford's distance medley relay. Goings was previously named All-Region in the 800 meters and last year's distance medley relay while Moreland, Kawakatsu, and Woodhouse both pick up their first career indoor All-Region honor.

Morgan and Peet also previously picked up USTFCCCA All-Region and All-America honors during the cross-country season.

Morgan (3,000 meters) has qualified for the NCAA Division III Indoor Championships, which will take place on Friday, March 8 and Saturday, March 9 at the Reggie Lewis Center in Boston. Live video and timing for the national meet are available via HaverfordAthletics.com
