Full Centennial Conference Release

HAVERFORD, Pa. - Haverford Men's Track & Field first year Peter LaRochelle picked up the first Centennial Conference Track Athlete of the Year award for the 2021-22 indoor season, the conference office announced in a release on Tuesday.

LaRochelle, a native of Great Barrington, Mass. continued his impressive first year campaign that resulted in an All-Metro Region certificate in cross country, pacing the field in the 5,000 meters with a time of 15:52.72 to win the event title in the lone distance event on Saturday at the Haverford Holiday Meet. LaRochelle's time currently ranks 32nd nationally after the opening weekend of the indoor season. 

The Fords will next hit the track on Saturday, January 15 at the TCNJ Invitational at the Ocean Breeze Complex on Staten Island (N.Y.). The meet is slated to begin at 1 p.m.
