Full USTFCCCA Release

HAVERFORD, Pa. - The Haverford men's indoor track & field squad team picked up six All-Region certificates, the United States Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) announced in a release on Tuesday afternoon. The honors were split between three events: the mile, 3,000 meters, and 5,000 meters.

All-Region designation is given to student-athletes who rank within the top five marks for an individual event according to the final TFRRS list in their respective regions. Runners who are part of relays that finish within the top three in the region are also designated as All-Region athletes. The regions used for this award – East, Great Lakes, Metro, Mid-Atlantic, Mideast, Midwest, Niagara, North, South, and West – match those used during the cross country season.

Centennial Conference gold medalist in the mile and meet-record holder Jamie Moreland earned the honor in the mile while Peter Buckley, Aaron Bratt, Max Brelig, and Ryan Kredell each earned the designation for the 5,000-meter run. Kredell additionally picked up a certificate in the 3,000 meters.

Moreland had the second-best time in the Metro region for the mile (4:10.26) while Brelig (14:55.81), Buckley (15:04.20), Kredell (15:07.16), and Bratt (15:25.00) had the second through fifth times in the Metro. Kredell's 3,000-meter time of 8:43.78 was good for fourth in the region.

With the indoor season coming to a close for the men's team, the Fords now turn their sites toward the outdoor season which is set to get underway at Widener's Danny Curran Invitational. That meet is slated for Friday, April 1 and Saturday, April 2 in Chester, Pa.
