HAVERFORD, Pa. – Haverford senior Reza Eshghi has been named the Centennial Conference Men's Indoor Track & Field Athlete of the Week for the second time in his career, the conference office announced Tuesday morning.

Eshghi, a Concord Academy (Lincoln, Mass.) product, put together an outstanding performance at the Seamus McElligott Invitational, where he claimed first place in the mile. Competing against 40 runners, Eshghi posted a time of 4:11.53, the fifth-fastest mile in Division III this season. This victory continues a strong campaign for the senior, who has consistently been among the top middle distance performers in the nation.

Eshghi's effort was part of a dominant performance by the Fords in the mile, as they claimed the top four spots and placed six runners in the top 10. The Fords' depth in the event was a key highlight of the day, showcasing their strength across the field at the first home meet of the season.
