LANCASTER, Pa. – The Haverford College men's and women's track & field teams are set to compete at the 2025 Centennial Conference Indoor Championships, hosted by Franklin & Marshall College on March 1-2, 2025. The two-day meet kicks off at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday and continues through Sunday afternoon, featuring 19 events on both the men's and women's sides.


CHAMPIONSHIP HISTORY

Women's: The last team other than JHU to claim the Centennial women's indoor championship was Haverford in 2010. In the 30-year history of the event, Hopkins (13) holds the most team titles, followed by Dickinson (7), Haverford (6), Swarthmore (2) and Gettysburg (2).J ohns Hopkins remains the favorite to continue its 13-year winning streak this weekend. The Blue Jays enter the meet ranked 11th in the USTFCCCA national rankings and first in the Mid-Atlantic Region. Ursinus (23) is also ranked nationally. Other CC teams ranked among the top 10 regionally include Ursinus (6th in Metro) and Swarthmore (8th in Metro). 

Men's: The last team other than Hopkins to hoist the Centennial men's indoor trophy was Haverford in 2012. In the 30-year history of the Centennial event, Haverford owns the most team titles with 17, followed by Hopkins (11), Dickinson (1) and Franklin & Marshall (1). Four CC squads are ranked among the top 10 of USTFCCCA regional rankings entering this weekend. In the Mid-Atlantic Region, Hopkins tops the list while Dickinson is ranked eighth. In the Metro Region, Haverford is third and Ursinus is sixth. 


WHAT'S AT STAKE

In addition to the team championship trophy, individual honors will be on the line.

  • First- and second-team All-Centennial Conference honors will be awarded to the top two relay teams in each event.
  • First-team, second-team, and honorable mention All-CC accolades will go to the top three finishers in each individual event.
