HAVERFORD, Pa. - The Haverford College men's track & field team has been named a Division III All-Academic Team for the 2022 season, the United States Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) announced in a release on Wednesday afternoon.
This season marks the 16th time in the past 17 seasons the Fords have earned this honor since the association combined the indoor and outdoor season into one award. More than 150 teams were honored by the USTFCCCA on Wednesday. In order to qualify for All-Academic distinction, the team must have a cumulative GPA of at least 3.1 on a 4.0 scale through the most recent semester/quarter. The Haverford program posted the 12th-highest overall team GPA in the nation, and third-highest in the Centennial Conference.
