Ryan Kredell Picks Up CC Track Athlete of the Week Award after Stellar Penn Relays

HAVERFORD, Pa. - Haverford senior Ryan Kredell has been named the Centennial Conference Track Athlete of the Week, the Centennial Conference announced in a release this morning. Kredell has earned the award for the third time in 2022-23, and for the first time this outdoor season after garnering the plaudit twice during the indoor season. 

Kredell ran the third-fastest 5,000 meter time in Centennial Conference history at the Penn Relays on Thursday, crossing the finish line in 13th place. The senior, who has already made history this season, put his name in the Haverford record books once again, running 14:06.89, the fourth-best time in Haverford's illustrious history. He was the top Division III finisher and his time is also good enough to place him ninth in Division III this outdoor season.
