INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. – Haverford College senior softball player Dayle Comerford has been selected to attend the 2015 NCAA Career in Sports Forum. The forum will be held at the NCAA National Office in Indianapolis from June 4-7.

The NCAA Career in Sports Forum is designed to aid student-athletes in charting their career paths. Additionally, attendees are offered the opportunity to network and learn from current athletics professionals. Participants will hear from a variety of speakers and panelists and engage other student-athletes in small discussion groups.

In addition to her success on the playing field where Comerford was the 2014 Centennial Conference Tournament MVP during Haverford's Centennial Conference Championship run, she has been very involved in athletics outside of softball. Comerford is a member of Haverford's Student-Athlete Advisory Committee and played an instrumental part with the Haverford Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC) in promoting a highly successful Division III Week.

Comerford has also helped develop the senior highlight video for the end of the year senior banquet and served as the volleyball team manager and official statistician. For her work in the classroom, Comerford has twice been named to the Centennial Conference Academic Honor Roll and is expected to earn that same honor this postseason. She was also recently recognized as an Ambler Scholar-Athlete, awarded to Haverford's most distinguished scholar-athletes.
