HAVERFORD, Pa. – The Haverford College softball team has released its 2020 schedule. The Fords enter this spring following back-to-back runner-up finishes in the Centennial Conference Tournament and will be looking to clinch the program's first championship since the 2016 season when the Fords advanced to the NCAA Super Regional. Haverford was 28-12 overall last year, including a 13-3 Centennial Conference record which earned the Fords the right to host the CC Tournament on the Class of '95 Field for just the second time in program history (2006).
Haverford returns eight of its 10 players who were regulars in the starting lineup last year and all five of the team's pitchers. Reigning Centennial Conference Player of the Year Emma Souter and second-team all-region pitcher Temma Levis headline a list of returners that also include All-Centennial Conference selections Nicole Swisher (first team), Ashley Sisto (second team), and Marybeth Stone (second team). In addition to the team's 10-game schedule during the week of Spring Break in Florida, the Fords will host seven doubleheaders on the Class of '95 Field.
