Full Centennial Conference Release

HAVERFORD, Pa. - Haverford College senior pitcher/outfielder Emily Reinstadtler has been named the Centennial Conference's Pitcher of the Week for the Week ending March 27, the organization announced in a release on Tuesday afternoon. Reinstadtler picks up the award after a stellar seven-inning complete game start against Penn State Brandywine in the second game of a doubleheader sweep of the Nittany Lions.

Reinstadtler twirled a gem in that contest with PSU Brandywine, as she allowed just four hits and one earned run, striking out five in the Fords 3-1 victory. The Cornelius, N.C. product held opponents to a .167 batting average, allowing just one extra base hit to the visitors in seven innings of work, picking up the victory.

The senior captain of the Fords has seen just eight careers starts in the circle, with four of those coming in her senior season in 2022. She has logged 25.1 innings with 18 strikeouts against 12 walks so far this season. 

Softball next returns to action on Wednesday, heading to No. 19 Rowan for a midweek matinee doubleheader in what will be the Profs home opener. The first contest is slated to begin at 3 p.m. in Glassboro, N.J.
