Softball Doubleheader With Eastern Postponed

HAVERFORD, Pa. – The following change has been announced to the upcoming Haverford College Softball schedule: 

The Haverford home doubleheader against Eastern, originally scheduled for Thursday, April 7, has been postponed due to inclement weather. A make-up time and date is still to be determined.

On Tuesday, the Fords ran away with an 8-2 win over Ursinus in the conference opener, while the visiting Bears returned the favor with an 8-2 victory of their own in game two. Maya Casey performed well in the circle, striking out five batters in the first game. Abby Marquis registered four total hits on the day and scored three runs.
