Women’s basketball gets by PSU-Brandywine, 61-49

MEDIA, Pa. – The Haverford College women's basketball team was victorious in its final non-conference game of the season, taking down Penn State University-Brandywine, 61-49, Monday evening.

Haverford (7-8) was led by both Nina Voith and Dominique Meeks who finished the night with double-doubles. Voith tallied 18 points and 10 rebounds while Meeks scored 10 points and grabbed 15 boards.

Seven different Fords got in on the scoring. Victoria Sobocinski also reached double-digits, scoring 10 points to go along with three steals and three rebounds. Cara Wyant totaled seven points and seven rebounds while Rachel Baskin recorded four points, eight rebounds and three assists in her first career start.

The Fords jump back into Centennial Conference play Wednesday at Swarthmore College. Tip-off is slated for 6 p.m.
