Postseason honors continue to roll in for Voith

HAVERFORD, Pa. - Postseason honors continue to roll in for senior Nina Voith of the Haverford College women's basketball team.

Voith became the first player in program history to earn All-American honors on Thursday when she was named to the Division III Coaches' All-America Team as an honorable mention selection, as announced by the Women's Basketball Coaches Association (WBCA) on Thursday.

The senior guard, a native of Philadelphia, was also voted to the 2014 women's D3hoops.com All-Mid-Atlantic Region Second Team earlier this week.

Voith's final season in a Haverford uniform was a memorable one as she became the program's all-time leading scorer while helping the Fords author a historic campaign that included the first Centennial Conference tournament title and NCAA tournament victory in program history.

Named the most valuable player of the Centennial tournament, Voith delivered 24 double-digit scoring performances on her way to averaging a team-high 14.3 points in 2013-14.

Becoming just the second Haverford player in program history to earn first-team All-Centennial honors, Voith ranked sixth in the conference in free-throw shooting percentage (79.0) and seventh in scoring.

Voith finished with 1,411 career points and will also graduate as the program record holder in field goals made. She currently ranks in the top five in the program record books in free throws made (second), games played (second), scoring average (third), three-point field goals made (third), offensive rebounds (third), three-point field goal percentage (fourth), free throw percentage (fourth) and minutes (fourth).
