Sophomore Samantha Wetzel tallied 15 points, snagged seven rebounds and blocked six shots. Her six blocks ties her career best and is tied for the ninth most all-time in a single game.

Haverford took its largest lead of the contest when a jumper by Wetzel made the score 27-21 at the 8:31 mark of the third stanza. The Fords kept the Green Terror at bay, taking a 31-28 advantage into the final frame.

A five-point spurt by the home team quickly erased the Haverford lead in the final quarter. The game continued its back-and-forth pace until a basket by McDaniel's Lindsey Nichols put the Green Terror ahead, 42-41, with 1:59 to go. McDaniel scored on the next possession, leading to a Haverford timeout.  After Haverford couldn't convert on the offensive end, head coach Bobbi Morgan's team was force to foul. The Green Terror made four free throws down the stretch to put the game away.
