HAVERFORD, Pa. - Haverford College sophomore guard Ally Landau picked up another postseason accolade on Tuesday, as she was named to third-team All-Region 5 honors by D3Hoops. Landau becomes just the fourth D3Hoops.com all-region selection from Haverford and the first to achieve the award in her rookie season. Landau was the only underclassman to earn All-Region 5 honors. All players chosen to the D3hoops.com All-Region teams are now immediately eligible for All-American selection.

The Livingston, N.J. product finished second in the Centennial Conference in points per game (16.2), tallying double-digit scoring totals in all but four games this season. Landau was named Centennial Conference Player of the Week on January 18 after averaging 21.7 points and 5.3 rebounds in a 3-0 week for the Fords.

Landau later notched a career-best 29 in a win over Muhlenberg on February 8. Quickly establishing herself as one of the conference's mainstay guards, Landau was the Centennial Conference leader in total minutes (960) and minutes per game (36.5).

A true two-way threat, Landau was first in the conference in total points, (421) field goals made (168) as well as second in assists (91), and steals (66).

This is the 21st year D3hoops.com has named an All-Region team and this year's All-America team will be the 25th annual All-America selections. The D3hoops.com All-American teams, along with those of the respective coaches' associations, are the only ones recognized in the NCAA record book.
