Why did you choose Haverford?
I chose Haverford because I knew I wanted to live out my dreams of playing college basketball at a school where I could also prioritize my academics, and explore other interests and clubs as well. I was drawn to Haverford for a variety of reasons, but the main one was the amazing community that exists here. When I visited Haverford, I immediately felt at home. The relationships students create, not only with their peers, but with their professors, deans, and coaches are truly amazing, and something you won't see at other colleges.

What do you love most about the sport(s) you play?
I love the competitive nature of basketball, and the feeling of family you have within your team and program as a whole. I love basketball because it challenges me to be better every day, both on the court and off the court. Going out, whether in practice or games, and getting the opportunity to work hard, play together, and leave everything you have out there, every time you step on the floor, is what makes me love basketball so much.

What is your favorite team experience?
It is so hard to pick just one! I'd have to say that one of my favorite team experiences was our home game against Muhlenberg last year. This game was very special to me because it was a Type 1 Diabetes awareness game.  Experiencing the love and support from my teammates was such an amazing feeling. That win was so special because we were out there playing the sport we all love, together as best friends and teammates which made the victory that much sweeter. I love HCWBB! They are some of the best people I've gotten to know here at Haverford, and every day we spend in or out of the gym is always a great time!

What advice would you give a high school student considering Haverford?
I would tell a high school student considering Haverford to come and visit campus. Talk to professors, students, and coaches. Get the full Haverford experience, and take in the beauty of our campus and community if you have the chance. I'm positive that it will impact your view of our school.
