HAVERFORD, Pa. - Haverford College Women's Basketball senior forward Kayla Robinson has been named the Centennial Conference Women's Basketball Player of the Week, the conference office announced in a release on Tuesday morning. This is the second weekly award win for Robinson, who also earned the honor on December 8, 2021.

The Bristol, Conn. native paced the Fords to a 3-0 week with a trio of double-doubles, averaging 14.7 points and 13.7 rebounds per contest in wins over Cabrini, Bryn Mawr and Alvernia. In fact, Robinson leads the nation in double-doubles this season (9) and also leads the nation in offensive rebounds per game while ranking third in the nation for total rebounds. She added 2.7 steals per game while shooting 51.5 percent from the field in the three contests as Haverford completed a perfect run through the December slate.

So far this season, the co-captain ranks in the top 10 in the Centennial Conference for rebounds per game (1st), total rebounds (1st), offensive rebounds (1st), steals (1st), points (5th), field goal percentage (5th), points per game (6th), and total points (5th).

As a team, Haverford is allowing just 11.5 turnovers per contest, the third-best mark in Division III. Haverford also leads the Centennial in turnover margin and assist-to-turnover ratio.

Haverford (8-3, 5-1 CC) sits on top of the Centennial Conference heading into the second full week of December, and will now break for the final exam period as well as the winter holidays, returning to action on January 4 at Gettysburg. The contest with the Bullets is slated to begin at 6 p.m. as it kicks off a stretch of four games in eight days for the Fords to begin 2023.
